BTD Technics has three types of add-on firewood processors in its range:
PROcompact:
- Shovels, telehandlers, tractors with front loaders, skid loaders, and backhoes, with a safe lifting weight of 1300 kg (note tipping load). Suitability depends partly on the make and type
- Wheeled and tracked excavators with a net weight of 8,500 kg or more (centrifugal forces).
Suitability depends partly on the make and type
- Carrier vehicles with an available hydraulic pressure of >= 210 bar on the working hydraulics and an oil flow rate of at least 35 l/min at moderate to maximum engine speed of the carrier vehicle
PROcompact-S
- Shovels, telehandlers, tractors with front loaders, skid loaders, and backhoes, with a safe lifting weight of 1300 kg (note tipping load). Suitability depends partly on the make and type
- Wheeled and tracked excavators with a net weight of 8,500 kg or more (centrifugal forces).
Suitability depends partly on the make and type
- Carrier vehicles with an available hydraulic pressure of >= 210 bar on the working hydraulics and an oil flow rate of at least 55 l/min at moderate to maximum engine speed of the carrier vehicle
PROplus:
- Shovels, telehandlers, tractors with front loaders, skid loaders, and backhoes, with a safe lifting weight of 1800 kg (note tipping load). Suitability depends on the make and model
- Wheeled and tracked excavators with a net weight of 12,000 kg or more (centrifugal forces). Suitability depends on the make and model
- Carrier vehicles with an available hydraulic pressure of >= 210 bar on the working hydraulics and an oil flow rate of at least 55 l/min at moderate to maximum engine speed of the carrier vehicle
In short,
The above vehicle specifications are rules of thumb.
These technical specifications can vary considerably between vehicle brands.
